How to Revert Office 2007 Ribbon to the Menu Format
When Office 2007 launched, many users found the ribbon-style menu confusing and difficult to navigate and wanted the classic-style menu back. Unfortunately, Microsoft did not include this as an option. However, it is still possible to add in a classic-style menu by downloading a third-party application. Rather than getting rid of the ribbon and completely reverting back to the classic-style menu, two of the applications add in a new tab on the ribbon titled "Menu" or "Menus," and all of the classic-style items appear in that tab. The third gives you a new toolbar that you can use alone or with the ribbon.

Tips & Warnings
While neither of the first two programs require you to pay in order to download or install them, you will notice a price on the download site. It appears that it is an "on your honor" system to pay the responsible individuals/companies for the program, so if you like the program and decide to keep using it after trying it out, pay for the program you choose. ToolbarToggle will remind you how many days remain in your trial every time you open an Office product, until you pay for the program or your trial runs out.
