How to Send Ringtones to Virgin Mobile

You can send ringtones to Virgin Mobile phones via email.

Virgin Mobile cell phone owners can choose from several ways to add ringtones to their phones. Although you can buy ringtones and then download them to your phone, you can also send ringtones to your cellular device via email for free. The email address that comes with your cell phone lets you sends the ringtone of your choice directly to the device.

Instructions

1. Open the email program on your laptop or desktop computer.

2. Click on the "New Message" option and then "Attach a File."

3. Locate a ringtone stored on your machine that you'd like to send to your Virgin Mobile phone. Choose to "Open" the file that contains the ringtone.

4. Type your cell phone provider's text messaging email address where it says "To:" on your screen. The email address should have the following structure: [e-mail]. However, you must replace the words "yourcellphonenumber" with your actual Virgin Mobile phone number.

5. Click the "Send" button to transmit the file to your cell phone in the form of a text message that you can open and assign as a ringtone.
