How to Use a Cell to Enter Numbers As Text
Text-messaging has been a feature on cell phones for many years. However, you may sometimes need to text someone a phone number to call or an address to a place you'll meet. When you have to press the numbers to get letters, you may not know how to make the actual numbers appear in your text. Luckily, doing this is very simple.

Access the texting feature on your cell phone and start a new text-message.

Press the number you want to appear, and keep pressing it until the number appears. Doing this will cycle through the letters on the phone before the number of the key shows up.

Press and hold the number you want to appear, if you have predictive, or T9, texting enabled. Release the key when the number appears on your phone.
