How to Edit the Registry for Sysprep in XP
Sysprep, or System Preparation Utility, is a program developed by Microsoft. It is responsible for preparing Windows for installation and delivery, and is referred to as imaging or duplication. Like everything else on your computer, if you want to edit Sysprep on your Windows XP computer, you must do it through the registry.

Click the green "Start" button, which is located on your taskbar.

Click "Run" within the Start Menu.

Type out the word "regedit" in the white box. Press "Return" or "Enter" to open up the registry editor.

Locate the entries in the list with the word "Sysprep" in them. Make the changes you desire. Press the red "X" on the top of the screen when you are done.

Tips & Warnings
Do not use the registry unless you have a specific list of changes to make. Editing the wrong value can harm your computer.
