You cannot transfer files from Outlook to Microsoft Windows Mail; however, you may transfer Outlook Express files to Microsoft Windows Mail. Microsoft Windows Mail has a somewhat similar design to Outlook Express and both programs perform similar functions.

      Click "Start" and select "All Programs."

      Click "Windows Mail."

      Click "File" and select "Import," then "Messages."

      Click "Microsoft Outlook Express" and select "Next."

      Click the box next to "Import mail from an OE6 store directory." Click "OK."

      Click "Browse."

      Navigate to your "Outlook Express" folder. Click the folder once. Do not double-click.
