How to Ban a Peer in uTorrent
The uTorrent application is one of the most widely used peer-to-peer file-sharing clients in the world. It uses a type of file-sharing protocol that is very similar to those used by other BitTorrent clients such as BitComet and LimeWire. However, an excessive number of peers on a torrent can reduce your upload and download speeds considerably. Therefore, banning a peer can help improve the overall speed of the torrent.
