How to Block Unknown Calls From a Cell Phone
Receiving calls on your cell phone from unknown numbers can be annoying and frustrating. In most cases, unknown calls usually are from telemarketers or, perhaps, former friends. There are ways to stop an unknown caller from contacting you through your cell phone.

Open the "Settings" menu on your cell phone and scroll down to "Calls."

Press the "Menu" or "Option" button and select "Call Restrictions." Select the option "Unknown" or "Private" only. Press the "OK" button to confirm your decision.

Make a test call from your home phone by dialing "*67" followed by your cell phone number. If the call does not go through on your cell phone, you have successfully blocked unknown calls.

Contact your wireless carrier and follow the prompts to speak with a representative.

Verify your account information and inform the representative that you would like to add a call-blocking feature to your phone.

Subscribe to the plan and follow the instructions provided by the representative to set up the account.

Add your cell phone number to the "Do Not Call" national registry.
There maybe a fee imposed for adding a call-blocking feature on your phone.
Depending upon the model of your phone, you may not be able to block the calls on your phone from the settings menu.
