How to Install Microsoft Certificate Authority
Certificate services enable pages on the Internet to issue and remove certificates of a digital nature. This helps to speed up the authentication process of a web page. To perform this service, you need to install it on the "Control Panel" of a computer. When you perform this process, you generate a folder to hold the certificate and its files.

Go to "Start." Click "Control Panel, "Add/Remove Programs," then click "Add/Remove Windows Components."

Check the "Certificate Services" box. Press the "Enter" button and then click "Yes."

Click the "Yes" option once again and then click "Next." Select the "Enterprise Root CA" option and press "Enter."

Type in the name of your certificate authority (CA) or your host name for the domain controller. Press the "Enter" button two times.

Click the "Yes" option in your "Microsoft Certificate Services" window and click "Next." Press "Enter" and then click "Finish" to conclude the procedure.
