Working With Mentally Challenged Children
Whether you are volunteering, teaching or parenting a mentally challenged child, you must be aware of the special approach you'll have to take in order for the child to learn. Remember that a mentally challenged child can learn just as any other child can, but that she must be taught in a way that accommodates her special needs. All it takes is a little learning on your part as well. Following certain steps while teaching a mentally challenged child, will result in a positive experience for the both of you.
