Homemade Sugar Scrubs for the Face
Instead of purchasing a facial scrub at the store, you can make your own at home with only a few ingredients. Homemade sugar scrubs contain natural ingredients to exfoliate your skin. Other ingredients added to the scrub can also benefit the skin by moisturizing it. After you remove the dead skin cells, your skin will feel smoother and look clearer. Things You'll Need
- 1 teaspoon pure honey
- Mixing bowls
- 1/2 teaspoon brown or cane sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup jojoba oil
- 1 tablespoon orange oil
Instructions

Sugar Honey Scrub

Place one teaspoon of pure honey in a bowl.

Add 1/2 teaspoon of brown or cane sugar.

Mix the ingredients until the sugar blends into the honey.

Apply the honey sugar scrub to your face. Massage it gently in a circular motion.

Rinse the scrub from your face thoroughly.
Sugar Oil Scrub

Pour one cup of brown sugar into a mixing bowl.

Add 1/2 cup of jojoba oil and 1 tablespoon of orange oil. You can purchase these oils at most health and beauty stores.

Stir the ingredients to mix them together completely.

Apply the mixture to your face in a circular motion to exfoliate.

Rinse off the scrub with cool water.

Tips & Warnings
Store the scrubs in an airtight container in the refrigerator for one to two days.
If your skin burns or begins to turn red, remove the sugar scrub immediately because it is irritating your skin.
