Instructions

1. Make a list of the key topics that are essential to your overall campaign platform. For example, if you are campaigning for better education policies and practices, list the problems you see in the current situation and then list solutions for every problem. Make your list using brief phrases and sentences that give one point per topic.

2. Take digital photographs to use on your flyer. Have photos taken of yourself and of the topics you listed as being important to your campaign. For example, if you are campaigning for better education take a photo of a school under your potential jurisdiction.

3. Gather quotes and comments from your supporters. For example, to highlight your educational stance and plan, get comments from school administrators, teachers and others in education to use in your campaign flyer. Make sure to get written permission to use their comments and have the person review the statements prior to publishing them.

4. List all upcoming appearances, town hall meeting, debates and other venues where you will be discussing your campaign agenda. Make sure to list the exact date, time and location for each appearance that you want to promote.

5. Organize your key points, comments from supporters and photos by using a basic word processing or document creation program. Enlist the help of others if you are unfamiliar with using such programs. Print out a black and white copy and review the draft flyer. Experiment using different colors and fonts. 6. Take your printed draft flyer to a professional printing company in your local area. Avoid using an online company to save money as in campaigning, local business support is a factor in public opinion. Talk with the company and determine a final price and final flyer.
