Instructions

  1. By Phone

    • 1

Take a photo with the camera on the phone and store it in the phone's memory. To take and store photos in the phone, follow instructions for the specific phone used.

    • 2

Access MMS messaging on the phone. Every phone has specific instructions for how to access this function. Most have "Compose MMS" as the function directive.

    • 3

Select the recipient of the photo. Most phones have a phone book or contact list. Follow specific phone instructions to access this database on the phone. Otherwise, dial the phone number of the Verizon phone directly.

    • 4

Compose the MMS message and attach the photo to the message.

    • 5

Push the "Send" button to deliver the MMS message to the Verizon phone.

    By Computer

    • 6

Compose an email message. From a computer, a photo must be sent as an email to the Verizon phone. Since data usage is charged by Verizon, several downloadable software packages exist claiming to negate the cost.

    • 7

Computer users have two options, depending on use of extra software. With software, follow the specific instructions included. Without software, type the 10-digit Verizon phone number (without hyphens), then @vzwpix.com into the address bar. An example of this is: "5551234567@vzwpix.com."

    • 8

Attach the photo to the email and send the message to vzwpix.com. If the phone number was correctly typed into the address bar, the photo should arrive as an MMS message on the Verizon phone.

Tips & Warnings

  • Photos are large graphic files, and extra data charges may apply for sending them from a non-Verizon phone to Verizon phones.

  • When using a computer, sending emails to phones is free already for the sender. It is the receiver who pays the data charges. Choose software with no sender charges attached.
