How to Use a VMware Image in VPC
Virtual PC (VPC), Microsoft's virtualization program, does not support VMware images natively. You will need to convert a VMware Image in order to run it in Virtual PC. You'll also need to remove the VMware Tools program from the virtual machine image, since Virtual PC doesn't use them. Be aware that Virtual PC doesn't support Linux as a guest operating system. It is possible to install Linux in Virtual PC, but it may not run properly.
