How to Install Novell Suse Linux 64 Bit
Novell Suse, also known as OpenSUSE, is a popular version of the Linux operating system. Packaged with useful applications and tools, Suse is developed with all users in mind, from novice to expert. If you have a 64-bit chipset in your computer, you can install 64-bit Suse Linux for free.

Go to the link in Resources called "Download Suse" and select the version you want to download. There is a DVD version that comes with significantly more software than the other options, which are GNOME and KDE, two different types of desktop interfaces. Choose the version you want to install and click "64 Bit." Click "Download" to save the file to your system.

Insert the blank CD or DVD and open your disc burning software. Choose "Burn Disc Image," locate the file you downloaded in Step 1 and click "Create Disc." Restart your computer with the disc still in the drive when the process completes.

Press the appropriate key to enter system BIOS and change "CD-ROM" in "Boot Order" to "Primary Boot." Exit BIOS. This boots into the Suse disc and into a menu.

Select "Installation" and press "Enter." Choose your language, read the licensing agreement, agree to the terms of use and click "Next." Choose "New Installation" and click "Next." Choose your timezone, review the installation page and click "Agree." This installs Suse Linux onto your system. Reboot your computer and proceed to set a number of user options, such as username and password.
