How to Configure an Acer Bluetooth
Acer laptop and desktop computers often feature Bluetooth wireless connections. This convenient technology is very easy to master, even for the least tech-savvy people. With a few clicks of your mouse, you can connect your Acer laptop to any Bluetooth device and never have to worry about tangled wires again.

Turn on the laptop and the Bluetooth device.

Activate the discovery function of the Bluetooth device. The exact method varies a great deal between devices.

Click on the "Start" button on the Windows home screen. Click on "Control Panel" in the menu that pops up. Select the "Bluetooth Settings" icon, and then click "Add."

Select "My device is set up and ready to be found" and then click "Next." The laptop will search the room for Bluetooth devices and make a list of them.

Select the device you wish to connect to the computer from the list that pops up. Click "Next."

Enter the numerical passkey for the Bluetooth device if you are prompted to. Some devices don't require a passkey; for those that do, you can find the code number in the owner's manual.

Click on the "My Computer" icon on the desktop. Check the window that pops up for a "Bluetooth Device" icon. If you see one, the device has been successfully connected.
