Flash drives are popular because of their compact size and decent storage capabilities; however, flash drives have set memory units that users cannot upgrade. Users looking to upgrade the memory on a flash drive unit will have to purchase an entirely new unit. Fortunately, upgrading a flash drive unit is relatively cheap, with prices being determined by the amount of memory purchasing and since new memory upgrades are released every few months, the older model flash drives are sold for relatively cheap.
