How to Disable a GPS Cell Phone Locator
As more and more cell phones are manufactured with built-in GPS (global positioning system), more and more people may feel uncomfortable that their whereabouts are constantly known. There are several ways that phones can be tracked and GPS is one of the more common methods. You may turn off the phone's GPS function, but as long as your phone is emitting a signal, your general location may be known from the nearest tower that your cell phone is connecting to. However, turning off the GPSwill prevent your exact location from being known.
