How to Rip Audio From a Homemade DVD
A homemade DVD contains an audio track as well as video---both of which are stored separately on the DVD. To make a copy (or "rip") of the audio from a DVD you have made yourself, use an audio editing program. There are a number of these programs available, with the majority of them free of any cost. The audio editing program will let you save a copy of the audio track from the DVD onto the computer's hard drive.
