How to Remove the Internet Explorer Instant Search Box

The "Instant Search" box in Internet Explorer is the box in the upper-right corner of the browser window. This allows you to easily access your favorite search engine without manually visiting the search engine or installing a toolbar. If you don't like the box, you may wish to remove it. Removing the search box extends the address bar all the way to the edge of the window, replacing the search box.
