How to Do a Hard Wrap on Your Hair
A hard wrap, also known as a wrap, is a hairstyle that many women with chemically straightened hair wear at night. Since chemically straightened hair tends to be more fragile than natural hair, a wrap prevents split ends by protecting the ends from rubbing against the pillowcase at night. A hard wrap also makes hair look straighter and it prevents dryness. With the right hair products, it takes minutes to do a wrap. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Start with clean hair. A hard wrap produces the best results when the hair is free of sweat, dirt, debris or residue from styling products.
-
2
Moisturize your hair. Squeeze a quarter-sized amount of hair moisturizer into your hands and evenly distribute throughout the hair. Relaxed hair tends to be dry, and moisturizing makes your hair healthier and makes a wrapped style look better.

3
Comb all the hair forward, towards your face. Remove any tangles with a wide-toothed comb.
-
4
Comb the hair counterclockwise or clockwise; the hair should form a spiraled, beehive shape on top of your head.
-
5
Brush the last hairs into place or clip them into place with a duckbill clip or bobby pin.
-
6
Gently cover the hair with a silk or satin scarf.
