How to Do a Mass Resize of Pictures
As digital cameras become more advanced, the size of photos has increased. While large photos offer high quality for printing, you often must resize pictures to easily attach them to emails or to use on personal websites and blogs. Fortunately, there is free software for Windows and Macintosh computers that allows for mass resizing of pictures.

Download and install Windows Live Photo Gallery software from the Microsoft website.

Open the Live Photo Gallery software and select the thumbnails of the photos you will resize.

Choose "resize" from the file menu. Select a new size for the photos as well as a storage location.

Press the "resize and save" button to complete the operation.

Navigate to the photos you will resize using the finder window.

Open the photos using the preview photo viewer software built into OSX.

Choose all of the photos you will resize from the Preview sidebar located on the right side of the program.

Choose "adjust size" from the tools menu and select a new photo size.

Press "OK" to complete the operation.
