How to Get Voicemail From a GoPhone

An envelope appears on most GoPhones to alert a user of a new voice mail message.

AT&T Wireless GoPhone users receive voice mail as a part of the service. Callers can leave a voice mail message that you can retrieve at your convenience. Using voice mail helps to ensure that you do not miss important calls. You can access your GoPhone's voice mail from the handset or from another phone such as a landline. Depending on your plan, you may incur charges for accessing your voice mail from your GoPhone handset.

Instructions

From the GoPhone

1. Press and hold the "1" key on your GoPhone's handset. Release the key when the phone dials the voice mail system.

2. Enter your voice mail's passcode when prompted to do so.

3. Listen to your GoPhone messages, then hang up the phone when you are finished.

From Another Phone

1. Dial your GoPhone phone number and wait for the greeting.

2. Press "*" when the greeting begins to play.

3. Enter your voice mail's passcode when prompted.

4. Listen to your voice mail messages, then hang up the phone when you are finished.
