How to Buy a Server for Video Streaming

In computing, when you purchase a server --- more commonly referred to as a dedicated server --- you are becoming your own web host. You can use a dedicated server for anything you want, such as running your own website or streaming your own videos. Though configuring and ultimately setting up the dedicated server can be quite complicated, making the actual purchase is the easy part.

Instructions

1. Access the website of a trusted, preferred web host or server outlet. Examples of websites offering dedicated servers for sale include Dreamhost, M5 Hosting and TotalChoice Hosting.

2. Click "Purchase," where indicated, on the website of your choice.

3. Fill out the requested information. The specific information requested will vary from website to website, but you will have to provide your full name, postal address and credit card information at the very least. For statistical purposes, you may need to inform the website why you want to purchase a dedicated server.

4. Press "Purchase."
