How to Send a Barbie Doll to the Philippines
A Barbie doll can be sent to a recipient in the Philippines almost as easily as it can be sent to a recipient in the United States. Package the doll carefully, and choose a carrier based on your budget and security preferences. Your carrier will provide you with customs forms you will need in order to ship your doll legally to the Philippines. Packages shipped via the United States Postal Services may not be as secure as packages shipped through a private company.

Write the address of the recipient clearly in block letters on the package. Be sure all information can be read easily.

Take the box to the carrier of your choice. You can use the US Postal Service or a private shipping company such as Fed Ex or UPS. Filipina Wives states that US Postal Service is the least expensive option but that packages ship more quickly and are more secure when shipped using a private shipping company.

Fill out the required customs forms. Remember that international mail can be opened and inspected by customs officers. Your shipping carrier will be able to provide you with customs forms and can provide assistance in filling them out and attaching them correctly to your package.

Tips & Warnings
Filipina Wives warns that packages are often opened by customs in the Philippines and that contents are often stolen. They report that the chances of this happening can be reduced by using a shipping company such as Fed Ex or UPS. This is because mail sent to the Philippines via the US Postal Service is turned over to the mail service of the Philippines in that country.
