How to Send a Free SMS From Widgets
Modern Mac computers come with a dashboard, a program that runs a series of mini applications, called widgets, that allows users to perform small tasks. Macs come with a weather widget and a calculator widget, but more widgets are available for download. Some widgets allow users to send free SMS, or text, messages to cell phones from their computer. Although most of the SMS widgets cost money to use and download, SMS Widget is free for both.
