How to Qualify for a Child Tax Credit Refund
There are certain criteria that must be met in order to qualify for a child tax credit. The individual that you want to claim as a dependent must reside under your roof, qualify in age, and be a citizen of the state where you are filing a year prior to filing taxes. If you qualify for a child tax credit, your federal income tax debt will be reduced and you may possibly obtain a refund.
