How to Uninstall Roxio Easy CD Creator 5 Completely
Roxio Easy CD Creator 5 is a CD/DVD burning program for the Windows operating system. It comes preinstalled with most Windows computers. This version of Roxio is no longer available. If you would like to use another CD burning program instead, you may want to uninstall Roxio Easy CD Creator 5 first.

Click "Start" and type "prtseqrd.sys" in the Search field. If this file is not found, proceed to Step 2. If it is found, right-click on the file and select "Rename." Rename the file "prtseqrd.ROX."

Click "Start" and "Control Panel." Click "Programs and Features." Find Roxio Easy CD Creator 5 in the program list and click the "Uninstall" link. If you are prompted to reboot your computer, choose "No." Close the Control Panel by clicking the "X" in the top right corner of the window.

Click "Start" and "Computer." Double-click on the hard disk drive "(C:)." Double-click the "Program Files" folder. Locate the "Roxio" and "Adaptec" folders. Right-click on each folder and select "Delete."

Click on "Program Files" and "Common Files." Find the "Roxio Shared" and "Adaptec Shared" folders. Right-click on each folder and select "Delete."

Click on "Program Files," "Common File" and the "InstallShield" folders. Find the "Engine" folder. Right-click and select "Rename." Rename the folder to "Engine.ROX." Find the "Iscript" folder. Right-click and select "Rename." Rename the folder to "Iscript.ROX."
