How to Connect a Telephone Recorder DVTR-680 Digital Phone Recorder
The DVTR-680 Digital Phone Recorder consists of a handset and docking station that connects to landline phone service with a standard telephone cable and modular plug. The handset begins recording automatically when you initiate a call with voice activation. Push the plug on one end of the telephone cable into the jack on the back edge of the DVTR-680 docking base. The locking tab on the plug must be turned up to fit the jack.

Connect the other end of the telephone cable to a modular wall jack or the output jack of a multi-line phone system.

Insert the USB cable into the matching port on the DVTR-680 handset.

Connect the plug on the other end of the USB cable to a port on your laptop or PC.
