How to Create a Free Countdown Timer

1. 

   Type in the Web Address

   Open your browser and go to timeanddate.com. Scroll down until you get to the section called "Countdown".

2. 

   Select the Time Zone

   Click on the link called "Countdown Timer for Websites". Select the correct time zone for the event that shall take place. If you do not need a countdown timer for a website, click the link "Countdown to any date", instead of "Countdown Timer for Websites".

3. 

   Countdown To Final Time

   Enter the month, day, hour, years, and seconds of the event. This will be the date and time the timer will count down to.

4. 

   Countdown to a Special Event

   Choose a theme to display. There are additional options if you choose to customize your timer. Select the options to your liking.

5. 

   Insert HTML Inside Blog Post

   Click "Show HTML" for your blog or website. Insert the HTML inside a blog post or text widget.
