How to Manually Delete Songs from my iPod

If you want to manually remove songs from your iPod, this can be done via iTunes. The Options menu in iTunes allows you to remove specific songs, rather than restoring or formatting the iPod, which will cause all data to be lost.

Instructions

1. Plug a USB cable into the iPod and connect the other end to a computer.

2. Open iTunes.

3. Click on the name of your iPod on the left side of the window.

4. Click "Summary," and locate "Options."

5. Click "Manually Manage Music," and then the "Music" tab.

6. Click on a song and press "Delete" on the keyboard.

7. Click "Sync iPod" to update with the song deleted.
