How to Get Rid of Congestion
Nasal congestion is a common problem that can become annoying. Breathing can become difficult from over-production of mucus and swollen, inflamed blood vessels. Congestion often comes with weather changes, which also brings the common cold, flu and sinus infections. According to MedlinePlus, decongestant nasal sprays and drops should not be used more then three days because after that amount of time, they can make you feel worse. Antihistamines can make people drowsy. Medicines do not treat the underling problem, but there are other ways to get rid of congestion.
