How to Remove Winzip Update Notifications
Developed by Corel, WinZip is a popular compression utility designed for the Microsoft Windows operating system. It allows you to more efficiently download, email or otherwise distribute multiple files by combining them into a single file represented by the .ZIP file extension. In addition to combining files, WinZip also compresses their contents to help speed up the transfer process. Corel periodically updates WinZip to add features and correct bugs, and sends out notifications using an update feature built into the program. Prevent these update messages from appearing by editing the Windows registry.
