How to Take Wrinkles Out of Silver Da Lite Projector Screens

There's nothing like watching a movie on a projector. Putting a movie up on a big projector screen makes you feel like you're watching it right in the theater. Projector screens do require a certain amount of care and maintenance, though. One common problem that occurs with projector screens is wrinkling. Da-Lite makes a silver matte screen that is flame retardant and can be washed with mild soap; however, it still can wrinkle. When a silver projector screen wrinkles, you can take the wrinkles out by covering it with a cloth and ironing it.

Instructions

Lay the projector screen down on a flat surface.

    • 2

Cover the screen with a cloth sheet. Spread the sheet out evenly over the entire surface.

    • 3

Plug in your iron and set the heat to the lowest setting. Slowly iron over the cloth until the wrinkles come out of the screen.

Tips & Warnings

  • Do attempt to iron a projector screen without a cloth sheet over it.

  • Do not attempt to iron a projector screen on medium or high heat. Doing so will melt the plastic.
