How to Turn Off Auto Numbering in Word 2007
Word 2007 includes several automatic formatting options, such as turning numbers into fractions, indentation and numbering. Although these features are usually convenient, they can turn into a nuisance. For instance, Word's automatic numbering can be notoriously frustrating as it changes your numbering or bullet sequence to an undesired digit or character. Fortunately, Word 2007 owners can disable automatic numbering in order to have more control when creating a document.
