How to Delete a YouTube Search

When you enter something into the search box of YouTube, the search phrase is saved and will appear when you attempt to search something similar. You can clear the search history to maintain privacy. YouTube itself doesn't save search history, so the only way to clear previous YouTube searches is by clearing the history of your browser.

Instructions

Firefox

1. Open Firefox.

2. Click "Tools" on the top of the window.

3. Select "Clear Recent History" from the Tools menu.

4. Choose a time range, from "Last Hour" to "Everything."

5. Click "Clear Now."

Internet Explorer

1. Open Internet Explorer.

2. Click "Tools" on the top of the window.

3. Click "Delete Browsing History" and select "History" from the options.

4. Click "Delete."
