The Verizon DSL Speed Optimizer is used to help improve the performance of your computer by adjusting parameters that cause your computer to move slowly. The DSL Speed Optimizer is not an item that is downloaded to your computer; it is run from the Verizon Wireless website and makes the necessary adjustments to your DSL connection as needed.

Instructions

1. Click "Residential" from the Verizon Wireless home page.

2. Click "Support."

3. Click "Internet."

4. Click "Slow Connection" in the "Quick Links" section of the "Support" page.

5. Click "Run DSL Speed Optimizer." The tool will run and check your connection and make the necessary corrections to your configurations.
