"World of Warcraft" (WoW) is a massively multi-player online role-playing game (MMORPG), a game where players anywhere can battle and forge alliances in a fantasy world. Some gamers and fans of the game prefer controller gameplay to mouse-and-keyboard gameplay, and generic video game controllers can be used in their place to improve the "World of Warcraft" gaming experience.

Plug your Logitech controller into a USB port on your computer, usually located in the back of a desktop computer and the side or back of a laptop computer. Your controller will be recognized as long as your drivers--in particular, your device drivers--are updated. (See Resources.)
Run your "World of Warcraft" game from your desktop or Start menu. Log in to your account, choose a realm and a character by clicking the character's name, and log in.
Press the "Esc" button to bring up a traditional "pause options" menu without pausing the game. Click on "Options," "Gameplay," and set your controls to your controller. Map your buttons by clicking on an action and then pressing a button on the controller to correspond with this action.
Tip
Relegate the D-pad, or arrows of the controller, to commonly used attacks, and leave the navigation to the analog sticks.
