Instructions

    • 1

Choose clean glass containers with lids in which to freeze the juice.

    • 2

Fill containers with elderberry juice. Leave a few inches empty at the top so as the frozen juice expands, the containers won't burst. Place the lids tightly on the containers.

    • 3

Mark the date on adhesive labels and affix to containers. This helps you remember when you froze the juice. Most frozen fruits and juices retain their flavors for up to eight months.

    • 4

Use ice trays to freeze the juice in single servings. Pour the juice into the trays and allow it to freeze.

    • 5

Fill plastic freezer bags with the ice cubes and seal the bags. Affix adhesive labels with the freezing date onto the bags. To use the juice, remove a bag from the freezer, empty the cubes into a glass and let them melt.
