Put a small amount of metal polish onto a soft, clean cloth. You can also use polish designed specifically for stainless steel.

    • 2

Rub the metal polish into the stain on the knife in the same direction as the grinding marks on the blade. Use a slight bit of pressure, but not too much. Be careful to rub in one direction only to avoid cutting yourself on the blade.

Tips & Warnings

  • Wash your stainless steel knives in warm, soapy water then rinse immediately after using them.

  • Dry your knives thoroughly after washing them.

  • Wash your stainless steel knives by hand instead of washing them in the dishwasher.

  • If you do wash your knives in the dishwasher, remove them immediately after the cycle finishes and dry them. Also, do not allow them to touch other stainless steel cutlery. Place them in the top rack instead of the silverware basket.
