Instructions

    • 1

Turn the power and heater switches to the "on" position to illuminate the heater ready light. The ProHeat 2X may be used without the heater element, but the cleaning capacity may not be as strong.

    • 2

Fill the ProHeat 2X bladder with hot water and the formula tank with Bissell Fiber Cleansing Formula. Cool water or non-Bissell brand cleansers will decrease the ProHeat 2X's cleaning power.

    • 3

Turn the ProHeat 2X's power button to the "off" position. Turn the power back to the "on" position and wait one minute. Depress the spray trigger button to prime the water tank's pump.

    • 4

Replace or re-align the interior brushes by turning the HeatPro 2X's power switch to the "off" position and unpluging the electric cord from the wall outlet. Take off the water and formula tanks and unscrew the front nozzle. Set all three aside. Turn the vacuum on its side with the cord side down. Unscrew the two black screws on the clear-end cap, being careful not to drop the black screws into the vacuum. Unscrew the silver screw and gently lift up the pivot arm. Re-align or replace the interior brushes by hand. Re-assemble the vacuum to test.

    • 5

Set the Ready-Tool dial to the correct setting specifications, such as the floor-cleaning mode or the tools setting.
