How to Change Ring Tones on a Samsung SGH-D780

You can customize your Samsung SGH-D780 mobile phone with ring tones.

You can change the ring tone on your Samsung SGH-D780 using the phone's profile settings. Changing the ring tone on the phone gives you the ability to know if a caller's information is available or not before you actually pick up the phone. You can select a different ring tone for calls with or without caller ID. You can even change the ring tones as often as you like.

Instructions

1. Press the "Menu" key on the Samsung SGH-D780's home screen.

2. Select "Settings," then select "Phone Settings."

3. Select "Phone Profiles" from the list of options and select the active profile.

4. Press "Options," then select "Edit."

5. Select "Voice Call Ringtone," then either "Calls with Caller ID" or "Calls with No ID."

6. Select the ring tone you want to use, then press "Options." Select "Save Profile" to save your settings.
