How to Program SVA D-1000 Video Player to TV Remote?

Universal remote controls are used to control a number of devices, such as televisions, VCRs and DVD players. In order to control these devices, you must enter a code into the remote that corresponds to the type of device and the device's manufacturer. If you have an SVA video player, you can program your remote for that device simply by using the information in your remote's User's Manual.

Instructions

1. Find the codes for an SVA video player in your remote control's User's Manual.

2. Manually turn on your video player.

3. Press and hold the "VCR" and "Select" button simultaneously until the remote's LED light turns on.

4. Enter one of the codes from your manual into the remote's keypad. If the correct code was entered, the remote's LED light turns off.

5. Press the "VCR" button again to store your code, then test the remote on your device by pressing the proper buttons to control your device. If all of the buttons do not work, repeat the process with another code from the manual.
