I Can't Connect to MSN Premium
MSN Premium is a type of Internet service you can purchase through MSN, and occasionally through cable, telephone or Internet providers that carry MSN. If you have MSN Premium but cannot connect to the Internet, there are several ways you can troubleshoot the problems without having to purchase new equipment or get new service.

1
Restart your computer. At the same time, unplug both the modem and the router for 10 seconds and then plug them back in. This is called a "hard restart" and will allow any glitches in your computer, modem or router to fix themselves when everything starts up again.
-
2
Double-check that all of the wires connecting your modem, router and computer are fully plugged in and and have not become disconnected. A disconnect of wires---like your Ethernet cable---will prevent you from accessing MSN Premium.

3
Close or exit all of the software associated with your Internet connection and then restart them. If you still have problems, try uninstalling the software from your add/remove files list and reinstalling it from your original disk.
-
4
Upgrade to the latest version of MSN Premium through your Internet provider. It could be that your version is too outdated to run the Internet.
