How to Connect to Quicken Online

Quicken offers a suite of software to help users manage their money by keeping track of their income and spending habits. Quicken Online, a free budgeting service, uses Mint.com to create personal budgets. Users of this service can connect it to various financial accounts, including banks, credit card, loan and investment accounts. Mint combines all of a user's financial data in one place for easy viewing, making budget keeping simple. Connecting to Quicken Online through the Mint service can be done after creating an account, then providing information about your finances.

Instructions

1. Go to Quicken.com and navigate to "Sign In," then click on "Quicken Online." You are taken to the Mint website.

2. Click "Sign Up," then create a new account by supplying your email address, postal code and a password.

3. Type your bank's name or copy its URL into the box that appears, and click "Search," or click on one of the listed banks below.

4. Enter the same user name and password that you use to sign in on your bank's website, then click "Add It." If you wish to add more banks, click "Add Account."
