How to Sync Two Directories thumbnail
Use an external hard drive to keep your directories in sync.

Directories make up the basic file-folder structure on your hard drive. Each file and folder on your desktop is located within a directory tree that keeps everything organized on your computer. Keeping directories in sync lets you access important files on two different computers without having to worry if you are working with the most up to date version of your document.
