How to Set Tabs in CMD

In many web browsers today, including Firefox and Google Chrome, you can set which tab you are using by pressing the command or cmd key on your keyboard if you are using a Mac computer. This allows Mac users to quickly switch between tabs while browsing the Internet. PCs do not have command keys so PC users have to use the control or ctrl key instead.

Instructions

    • 1

Open your Firefox or Chrome web browser on your Mac computer.

    • 2

Press "cmd t" on the keyboard to open a new tab.

    • 3

Press "cmd" plus the number of the tab you want to set, such as "1" or "2;" for example, type "cmd 3" to set the third tab. Each tab is numbered from left to right.
