How to Adjust the Tilt of a Sharp 19-inch TV

Slide the stand into the opening at the bottom of your 19-inch Sharp TV. Insert the three screws that came packaged with the television into the holes at the back of the stand and use the hex key to tighten them. Once the base is installed, you can adjust the tilt.

Place the television where you want it to sit, which should not be in direct sunlight.

Push the top of the television, making sure to place your hand on the edge of the TV without touching the screen. When the TV is in the base, you adjust the tilt by gently pushing or pulling the top of the TV. When you do this, the television itself should move while the base stays in the same position. If the base moves, try holding down the base while someone else pushes the TV. Adjust the angle of the TV to a desirable position using this method.

Turn on the television. Go to your seat and look at the screen. If the image is hard to see, adjust the tilt again.
