Using a Presto Fry Daddy like a crock pot takes a little getting used to, as some models don't feature temperature gauges, but it allows you to make use of one item for a multitude of kitchen uses.

Stir your ingredients frequently to avoid scorching, and lower the Fry Daddy temperature as needed to cook the food properly. This allows you to use the Fry Daddy as a crock pot or slow cooker instead of a deep fryer.
