Instructions

    • 1

Add 1 tablespoon of auto-drip or "all-grind" coffee grounds per desired cup of coffee to the brew filter. Do not fill the filter with more than two tablespoons of coffee grounds per cup to avoid overflow. Do not use less than 1 tablespoon of coffee grounds, as this will cause an over-extraction of the beans and oily residue on the coffee.

    • 2

Add an extra tablespoon of auto-drip or "all-grind" coffee grounds to the brew filter if making less than 4 cups to avoid bland-tasting coffee .

    • 3

Replace tap water in the coffee maker's reservoir to with fresh, filtered water to improve the taste of the brewed coffee.

    • 4

Empty the coffee in your coffee carafe after two hours to avoid stale-tasting coffee. Re-brew coffee with fresh grounds and filtered water.

    • 5

Fill half of the coffee carafe and half of the water reservoir with distilled white vinegar. Insert an empty coffee filter into coffee machine's filter basket. Place the lid on the coffee carafe and insert into coffee machine. Plug in the coffee maker and start the brew cycle. Once brewed, turn off coffee machine. Pour entire carafe of vinegar back into water reservoir and wait 20 minutes for the solution to cool. Repeat the process four to five times. To rinse, pour out vinegar from the carafe and fill with water. Pour water into reservoir and start another brew cycle to rinse out all vinegar from inside the machine. Repeat as necessary.
