How to Get Rid of a Macro Virus
The Macro virus is a deceptive, rogue application that attacks your system via trojan infections such as the Zlob Trojan. If you don't get rid of the Macro virus as soon as you detect it on your system, it will initiate pop-ups and wreak great damage on your computer. It is a scam that you remove by executing manual procedures. The virus installs damaging files and registry entries on your system. You can get rid of the Macro virus with your computer's utilities.

Remove the Registry Entries

Press "R" on your keyboard and the Windows key simultaneously.

Open the Registry Editor by typing "Regedit" in the dialogue box. Click "OK."

Expand the following registry paths on the left side of window one at a time:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Macro > VirusMacroVirusRegInfo
HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > MacroVirusMacroVirusSettings
HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > MacroVirus
HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > MacroVirusMacroVirus
HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > MicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionRun "MacroVirus"
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Microsoft > Windows > CurrentVersion > UninstallMacroVirus_is1

Right-click each of the entries at the end of the path and click "Delete." Confirm the removal of the harmful entries. Exit the Registry Editor.
Remove the Files

Press "F" plus the Windows key.

Type the following files in the Search dialog box one at a time:

Uninstall MacroVirus.lnk

python24.dll
python24.zip
sqlite3.dll
unicodedata.pyd
unins000.dat
unins000.exe

MacroVirus Scheduled Scan.job

Right-click each of the files and click "Delete." Open the Recycle Bin on the desktop and click "Empty the Recycle Bin."
Unregister the Files

Press "R" plus the Windows key. Type "Cmd" in the dialogue box. Press "Enter."

Type the following command in the prompt:
regsvr32 /u msvcp71.dll
regsvr32 /u msvcr71.dll
regsvr32 /u python24.dll
regsvr32 /u sqlite3.dll

Press "Enter" to unregister the files. Exit the Command Prompt. Reboot your computer system.
